Crawling

Don't be fooled...crawling done well is hard AF! This movement pattern, learned early in life, sets the foundation for your motor control, strength, coordination, and balance. If you want a stronger core, or to perform better in any of these areas, crawling is a fabulous reset!

How to crawl well

  1. From a tabletop (quadruped) position, tuck your toes and lift your abs. For a more challenging version also hover your knees 1" off the ground.

  2. Crawl in any direction (forward, backward, sideways) moving opposite arm and leg simultaneously.

  3. While crawling, pretend you're balancing a marble on your low back, don't let it fall off.
